  • Full Description

Rooibos is cultivated solely in the Cederberg mountains of South Africa where it's grown on small bushes producing green, needle like leaves. The name “rooibos” or “red bush” infusion refers to the deep russet colour of the leaves after the process of oxidation, highlighting their naturally rich, treacle-toned taste.

NO.31

NUMEROLOGY

We’ve given our signature rooibos the number 31 – the temperature in Clanwilliam, South Africa, when the tea is harvested at the height of summer. It’s thirsty work!

SOUTH AFRICA

Herbal rooibos and honeybush are unique to the Cederberg Mountains in South Africa, where they've been harvested by Khoisan tribes for centuries. The leaves are usually processed in a similar way to black tea, giving a fruity, caffeine-free infusion.

Store in a sealed jar or tin, such as our Fill-Me-Up Tea Caddies.
