  The story goes that the tradition of afternoon tea started with Anna, Duchess of Bedford in the early 19th century. The Duchess knew a thing or two about which teas to choose, and we think she would have approved of this trio of English Rose teabags, biscuits with matching cup and saucer. All that’s missing? Cucumber sandwiches, of course.

  Inspired by vintage patterns with a nod to afternoon tea’s celebrated heritage, this is a set to take you back in time. Our English Rose loose leaf tea blend recreates the taste of a classic Meigui Gongfu rose tea by using a Chinese black tea for the base, imbued with subtle floral flavours and scattered with rose petals.
