    Cultivated on the fertile volcanic slopes of Lake Atitlán, the giant, glossy Guatemala Maragogype beans are quite a curiosity, dwarfing most other beans at almost triple the size! They also boast an equally impressive taste profile, with deep roasted bass tones, soft fruity top notes, and a smooth, well-balanced chocolatey sweetness to finish.

    Origin:  Guatemala

    • Roast: Medium-dark

    • Number of servings (using 15g per cup): 125g = 8 cups; 250g = 16 cups; 500g = 33 cups; 1kg = 66 cups

Huehuetenango ("way-way-te-nan-go") in western Guatemala is famed for its high-quality coffee; the name is Nahuatl for "place of the ancients".

How to Brew the Perfect Cup

1 espresso shot (18g ground coffee)

35ml freshly boiled water

  1. Warm your espresso cup beforehand with a drop of hot water (optional).
  2. Add 18g ground coffee to your equipment of choice
  3. Pour over freshly boiled water
