  It was during China’s Ming Dynasty (1368–1644) that tea artisans first perfected the art of infusing tea with floral oils, using buds and blossoms like rose petals to elevate each sip. Inspired by these early traditions, we’ve recreated the timeless taste of a classic Meigui Congou rose tea, selecting a fine Sri Lankan black tea imbued with delicate floral notes and scattered with rose petals.

  Though the tea’s origins may be Sri Lankan, its fragrant rose aroma is unmistakably English, evoking images of rolling countryside, church bells, and blooming gardens. Each sip is a gentle reminder of Britain’s pastoral beauty, perfect for a summer picnic on the village green or to brighten up even the frostiest winter days.

  Our English Rose Collection is as elegant as it is practical, featuring an embossed, stackable, air-tight tea caddy to keep your tea impeccably fresh while gracing your tea table with classic charm.
