Bold, syrupy and complex, with notes of dark cocoa and warming spice.

Grown high in the rich volcanic soils of northern Sumatra, this celebrated coffee is named after the Mandailing people, whose history has long been intertwined with coffee cultivation.

What truly sets Mandheling apart is Giling Basah (wet-hulling), a processing method unique to Indonesia. Passed down through generations of smallholder farmers, it gives the coffee its distinctive character, full body and remarkably low acidity.

Rich, distinctive and unlike any other coffee.

Particularly rewarding brewed as a cafetière or filter coffee, where its complexity can fully unfold.
