Our signature loose leaf Assam black tea, bursting with rich malty flavours.

Harvested from the Camellia assamica plant native to Assam, where intense monsoon rains, rich alluvial soil and warm, humid climate produce a tea of quite distinctive character: full-bodied and wonderfully robust, with a deep amber colour.

Our Tippy Assam celebrates the very finest this region has to offer. The word "tippy" refers to the golden tips. These are the youngest, most flavoursome buds of the bush, and one of the most respected marks of quality. Our Assam has a small, neat leaf with plenty of these tips, rolled in the traditional manner to deliver that gorgeous hue and authentic, malty character.

Sweet, malty and wonderfully satisfying, brilliant at breakfast with a splash of milk. Utterly tip top.
