The result is a softer, sweeter infusion with remarkable clarity and none of the bitterness often associated with over-brewed tea.

This sleek bottle from Hario, Japan's celebrated glassware maker, features an integrated filter and easy-grip silicone stopper, making cold brewing beautifully simple.

Just add your favourite tea, cover the leaves with boiled water for two minutes, then top up with cold water and refrigerate for five to ten hours.
