Most English Breakfast teas draw their character from a blend of Assam, Ceylon and Kenyan leaves. We took a different path, sourcing this loose leaf exclusively from West Java, Indonesia. This delicious decision makes it unusually close to a single origin tea, a genuine rarity for a breakfast blend.

West Java's volcanic soil, steady rainfall and cool mountain air give these leaves a naturally rounded character and distinctive brightness, robust enough for a proper breakfast cup, subtle enough to enjoy slowly.

Particularly good with a splash of cold milk alongside a full English, it's a tea that's stood the test of time for very good reason.
