Creamy, buttery & earthy
Type Oolong Tea
Format Loose Leaf Tea, 50g

A pouch of loose leaf Milk Oolong, grown high in the mountains of Taiwan.

Milk Oolong has a naturally creamy character, that comes from the unique amino acid profile of the Jin Xuan cultivar, also known as the Golden Daylily.

Surprising but sublime. Distinct and delicious.

Lightly oxidised in the traditional manner to bring out its smooth, sweet and buttery notes, the leaves are then hand-rolled into small, tight balls. Add hot water and they unfurl completely to reveal the whole leaf, the mark of a genuinely high-quality oolong.

The result is silky, creamy and gently sweet, with a soft floral character and a naturally buttery depth. Best brewed at 75-85 degrees C for just one to four minutes. Go for a shorter brew to enjoy something more delicate and floral, or brew longer if you enjoy a richer, creamier cup.
