The trick is a sealed pocket of air between two layers of heat-resistant borosilicate glass, working on the same principle as double glazing: trapping warmth in, keeping the outside cool. Simple physics, brilliantly applied.

Because both walls are transparent, your drink appears to float inside the mug. A cup of tea or a fresh espresso has rarely looked this good.
