Beautifully complex Ethiopian coffee with rich cocoa depth and silky hazelnut notes
Silky hazelnut warmth, intense dark cocoa and a rich, wine-like complexity.
Legend has it coffee was discovered when an Ethiopian goat herder named Kaldi noticed his flock dancing with unusual energy after eating bright red cherries near the forests of Djimmah.
Whether fact or folklore, Ethiopia remains the spiritual home of coffee.
In the Djimmah region, coffee still grows as part of the natural forest, harvested from tall trees much as it has been for centuries. The name Mocha comes from the Yemeni port through which this naturally chocolatey coffee first reached the wider world.
Sun-dried and roasted to a light-medium profile, it delivers remarkable depth while preserving the character of its origin.
A taste of coffee's origins, perfect for those who enjoy exploring the world's great coffee regions.
