Origin: Sri Lanka Leaf Type: Black Tea Taste: Citrus notes Drink: Without Milk Brew: Lightly, 2-3 minutes according to taste with water off the boil When to drink: Afternoon
History states this high-quality tea got its name when the East India Trading Company presented it to the Dutch Royal Family, the House of Orange, and then promoted the tea as 'Orange Pekoe' to suggest a royal warrant. A Ceylon-style large leaf blend from the midland gardens of Sri Lanka, it is loved for its citrusy taste.
the perfect brew when making iced tea
taste great even when you've left it to stew

I have tried so many different strong teas as I do like a strong tea but not 'too strong' and this tea is just perfect. It makes a lovely cup of tea which I enjoy with breakfast with my hubby through the day. Thanks Whittard for doing such a wonderful Tea!

A beautifully balanced tea, refreshing and full of flavour. It's just what I have been looking for, to enjoy when I get to the studio in the mornings!
Excellent service too and very easy to order.
Smiles all round really!

Orange Pekoe teabags are super! Have been out of stock for weeks in my local store though. They are the best ceylon tea bags anywhere

I like a pot of OP first thing when I wake up - it helps me write and puts me in a good mood.
