Kenya Peaberry is a fine, aromatic coffee, perfect for a gentle wake me up in the mornings.
The coffee gets its name from the single pea-like bean that nestles inside the ripening coffee cherry. Accounting for only a very small percentage of the crop, the prized peas are separated from the more commonplace twin beans using a special sieve. Their heightened flavor is preserved by lightly roasting the beans, resulting in a nicely balanced fruity coffee with a lower acidity than many Kenyan beans.
Regarded by many as a superior bean, Kenyan Peaberry offers a lighter and more refreshing alternative to Whittard's regular Kenyan coffee.
