All Whittard of Chelsea US deliveries are made by courier. 

If we do deliver to you at home and no one's in, our couriers will leave a card telling you about how to collect your delivery or rearrange the delivery. Any unclaimed or undelivered orders will eventually make their way back to our warehouse.
Whittard of Chelsea does not recommend tha customers leave instructions to our couriers for your goods to be left outside your delivery address. 

All US orders are shipped from our warehouse in the UK and may be subject to additional customs charges. Please be aware that Whittard of Chelsea is not liable for these charges.
